Description PLYMOUTH CHURCH

The Plymouth Congregational Church, facing the Framingham Centre Common, had a dark gothic building in 1880, similar to that of the First Parish Unitarian Church. It had been built in the 1830s after church members separated from the First Parish to form their own organization. It was remodeled with a tall spire in 1848. In 1967, the old Plymouth church was torn down and rebuilt in colonial revival style, in harmony with the new First Parish Church.
