Description HIGH SCHOOL

From the 1850s to the 1890s, Saxonville had its own high school, on the west side of Elm Street. The building later served as an elementary school, and was torn down in 1923 to make way for the larger brick Saxonville School, now known as the Mary Stapleton school.
