Addressed to Kenneth Blake, 7417 South Chicago Avenue, Chicago, Ill from Lewis Lucien Blake, 144 Hollis St. Framingham

The Boston & Albany railroad station, with Waverly Street as a dirt road, a waiting trolley at left and the Old Colony Hotel (c 1882) in background at the right. The granite block building, designed by Henry Hobson Richardson, was built in the mid-1880s, replacing a wooden station that was moved to the west and became the freight depot.
