Addressed with message to Miss Doroth Darling, Annapoli County, Springfield, N.S.

State Militia on their way to Camp Whitney, 1916 - Militia marching north on Concord Street past the Nobscot Block at SW corner of Howard Street. The trees are on the downtown Common and in the distance is the Smith Building at Irving Square. Troops were leaving the railroad station for Framingham's Musterfield, renamed "Camp Whitney" for the mobilization for the Mexican Border War.
