“Patterns in History Program” Docents: Volunteers needed during the month of May from 9am-12pm to cover an activity during the third grade field trips to the Framingham History Center. Volunteer opportunities include:
- Baking Committee — A committee of volunteers who love to bake and would like to lend their services for the Center’s monthly programs and events, which normally fall on Sunday afternoons.
- Mailings — Volunteers will be called upon to help the FHC staff stuff envelopes for the membership mailings in March, the House Tour mailings in April, Annual Appeal in November, occasional postcard mailings, and other additional mailings.
- Newspaper Clipping — An individual, or two, needed to carefully cut and label articles from the MetroWest Daily News and the Framingham Tab, specifically relating to significant events in Framingham for archival records. Volunteers are needed to photocopy these clippings, and to file them so that they will be accessible for research.
